Deadlifts for Mason

Mason Gregoire, a member of our TES community, was involved in a serious motorcycle accident while on his way to work. Several of us know Mason by his participation in powerlifting, but as of recent, most of us saw him preparing himself for the Air Force.

Mason has undergone several surgeries for a ruptured aorta, intestinal perforation, minor brain surgery to monitor intracranial pressure due to swelling, orthopedic surgery for a broken pelvis and leg, and surgery for a broken jaw. As you could imagine, the expense of the surgeries and cost for physical therapy in the future will be huge.

Top-End Strength will be coordinating a “Deadlifts for Mason” on October 12, 2024, the same day as our facilities 1-year anniversary celebration. We encourage any of our online members and gym members to participate in this event, but encourage all within the PL community to consider donating through this page or directly to the family fundraising page.

There will be two ways we raise money: participation sign-up and number of reps per athlete completed.

1. Cost to participate is $20 (if already donated prior to this page, please DM Jenny). If you’d like to participate, but cannot contribute at this time, please DM Jenny.

2. Money raised from deadlift reps will come from TES, Jenny, and Juan (1 rep = $1).

3. Men will lift 2x body weight and female will lift 1.5x body weight for as many reps as possible. The total number of reps combined will be the amount TES contributes (up to $500).

4. Contributions beyond the $500 will come from participation sign-ups.

5. Online clients can participate by sending us a deadlifting video on October 12th.

My goal is to make the event challenging enough that in order to reach our 500 rep ($500 goal), we get as many TES community members to participate.
