A Stardust Space Co-Production With Dead Name Theatre presents digitrans // analogirl, a second staged reading of a new play by Ashley Naomi to be performed at the 2025 SummerWorks Performance Festival!
ABOUT THE PLAY
Kat, better known as C-Angel, is an introverted trans girl who finds freedom and gender euphoria online, as a bubbly, extraverted Vtube streamer. Following a chance encounter online with her favourite streamer, the coolheaded Twila (known in real life as an artistic indie rocker named Luna), the two begin a relationship that intersects digital and physical lives.
A bittersweet snapshot of their mutual moment of transition, through each other they discover, liberate, and explore their perspectives on femininity, parasocial relationships and expectations, and the many different masks young queer people wear both online and in real life.
