Tom has been doing his show on 105.5 Vintage Radio for years. Even with an outbreak of zombies and the end of the world, he keeps performing his morning show every day. Through his eyes we see the mental struggles he has in dealing with the loneliness of his work, and how difficult it can be to be entertaining and creative, when it seems that no one is listening.

Dead Air is a 10 minute short film being made in Norwich, UK, about creative unfulfillment and mental health struggles after the end of the world.

This is my first film I've ever attempted to make outside of University. I set out to make Dead Air with two goals in mind: Pay everyone fairly for their work, and hire people exclusively from Norwich and the Norfolk area, a wonderful area with lots of creatives, and not a lot of opportunities.

With help from a local film trust I have been able to get the majority of the film funded, with production beginning in late September, and a finished release in early 2026.

However, for the film to succeed as best as it possibly can, I believe an additional £1000 will help me achieve my goals. All money raised will go directly to the project, either during pre-production for props, set design and so on, or to pay the cast and crew a higher rate for their hard work.

Everyone who helps raise funds will be mentioned in the credits, and invited to a screening of the film once it is finished if they are able to make it, and a link to the finished film once it is uploaded to YouTube or Vimeo.
