I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis when I was 27 in 2014, and I am asking for $1,500 for co-pays to continue physical therapy so I can improve my walking .
I have tried a number of therapies and the disease has continued to progress to the point where walking is difficult. It may be obvious that the ability to be stable on one's feet is a given in a business environment, but that has not been a reality since the MS has caused me to fall while walking from the kitchen to the living room, for instance. I want to return to work and function as a contributing member of society. Walking is part of that.
I need your help to continue physical therapy. I am responsible for $40 per session. The three sessions I have had have been beneficial. In making this request, I chose a three month period of time to determine the amount to request ($40 times three days a week equals $120 per week times four weeks a month equals $480 times three months equals $1440 plus transportation costs). The gap between insurance coverage and actual cost is making continuing physical therapy difficult to impossible. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
Please be a part of my success story!
