Rupert & Nate

There is something special about that first dog you share your life with. For some it is the dog of childhood memories. For others it is the first dog owned as an adult. No matter the age you experience the love only a dog can give, it is life changing and magical.

Anyone who knows Nate knows Rupert was that first magical experience of owning a dog. Anyone who has shared their life alongside animals knows just how hard it is when time and age starts to take them away from you.

When Rupert's heart began showing signs of struggle, Nate & Patrick did everything to help their best friend. No dog could have gotten more attentive care. If love alone could have healed him, Rupert's heart would have beat forever.

But we all know they never live long enough and Rupert's heart began to fail and he needed to be hospitlized in an effort to stablize him. Despite all that was done, Rupert left this world in the arms of Nate and Patrick carrying all the love with him as he crossed the bridge.

The efforts to save him left behind a medical bill of $7k. We know Nate and Patrick would never ask for themselves, but we also know how often their kindness has helped others. Please give if you can and help pay off his veterinary bill.
