Dear family and friends,
Did you know? 100,000 Canadians are living with Multiple Sclerosis with most being diagnosed between the ages of 15 and 40. There is No Cure! MS is unbiased, unprejudice and certainly does not descriminate. MS doesn't think about the horrific pain and trauma it invokes to its victims and their families and does so without any remorse whatsoever.
We can not begin to imagine finding out your life as you know it has changed forever. However when Tim found out he was diagnosed with MS his thought was the fight has started NOW! Tim is an amazing father who wants to be there for both of his children always supporting them and their love of hockey. He does everything possible to be the one who takes his kids to games, practices and tournaments. Even though his body is aching and fighting him every step of the way his courage and tenacity allows him to continue.
Tim is a brave man who has an exceptional positive attitude. Not only does he put his family first in every aspect of his life, he continues to encourage all of those around him. Tim will not let MS stiffle his uncontrollable and contagious laugh or his incredible sense of humour. Tim certainly loves a good joke.
This is where we need your help. We want to raise money so that we can help Tim and his family with medical costs and adapt Tims home and car so he can be as independent as possible. We are asking for your support to enable us to renovate his family's bathroom and add wheelchair ramps to their home. Quality of life is a gift without limits. We have already been able to secure a chairlift and a motorized scooter which is fantastic.
As you know Tim is a very proud man. We are trying to surprise him so please only share it through email or private message on Facebook until we are able to meet our goal.
