DDR CITY FEST FUNDRAISER
Have you or anyone you know ever experienced joy, wonder, found a community, gained a deeper understanding of yourself, or even had your life transformed by DDR Sanctuary? If so, DDR Sanctuary is now bringing their renowned transformational experiences to the wider San Diego community through the DDR City Fest on June 11th, and they need your help to make it happen.
Who is DDR Sanctuary?
The DDR Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, also known as DuckDuckRoar (DDR), which values human connection and recognizes the significant impact of community on our mental, spiritual, and physical well-being. DDR believes that true fulfillment can be found in a safe space where individuals are accepted and encouraged to express their authentic selves without any societal expectations. DDR's mission is to organize affordable and inclusive wellness gatherings, conscious experiences, and transformational festivals in Southern California, with education, movement, and artistic freedom as their guiding principles. DDR strives to provide life-changing experiences that enable individuals to rediscover their true selves and be celebrated for who they are.
What is DDR City Fest?
DDR City Fest is an expression of DuckDuckRoar's values and aims to motivate the San Diego community to embrace creativity, live more authentic, healthy, and conscious lives. The family-friendly festival takes place in the beautiful setting of Waterfront Park, which is also the home of CRSSD Fest. The festival offers an immersive experience with live and electronic music, workshops, meditations, yoga and acro yoga classes, art installations inspired by Burning Man, acrobatic performances, and a variety of unique vendors. DDR's mission is to make the world a better place, one authentic self at a time, and that's why the event is free of charge. Be a part of creating an unforgettable, transformative experience at DDR City Fest!
Why we are asking for your Support!
We are asking for donations to help us cover the costs of DDR City Fest. These expenses include City Permits/Rental for $5,500, insurance for $1,000, feeding and clothing volunteers for $700, art supplies for $200, power and generators for $300, sound & lighting for $500, kid friendly zones, for $200, and more.
We are currently funding the festival from our own pockets, and we hope to raise enough funds to not only cover these costs but also provide a child with a 6-12 month tuition at the San Diego Circus School. Any donation you can provide would be greatly appreciated. If you know of any companies interested in donating or partnering with us, they will have the unique opportunity to reach a diverse and engaged audience. We assure you that all contributions, monetary or otherwise, will be recognized and valued.
Thank you for considering supporting our cause.
