My name is Tuzdie, also known as Tuesday. I am a Deaf woman who works multiple jobs and volunteers in my community. Supporting others has always been at the heart of what I do.
Both my mother and sister have lost their teeth and now I am next in line. I have spent much of my life in dental care due to severe oral health challenges that run in my family. Because I do not process anesthesia in a typical way, many of my past dental experiences were painful and traumatic. Over time, fear and financial barriers made it difficult to keep up with consistent care.
I have since been diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), which affects my connective tissue and has contributed to rapid tooth loss.
Today, I am facing the reality of losing the rest of my teeth and needing major dental surgery. This has deeply impacted my confidence, my ability to eat comfortably, and even how I communicate and show up in my daily life. I am terrified that my teeth will continue to break after eating something that is not already soft and being reduced to a liquid only diet if I do not work on this now.
After extensive consultations, dental implants have been identified as the best path forward to restore my health, my smile, and my quality of life.
I am reaching out because I cannot do this alone. The cost of this procedure is beyond what I can afford, even while working multiple jobs.
Any support—whether through donations or sharing my story—means more than I can express. You’re not just helping me restore my smile, you’re helping me regain my confidence, my health, and my ability to fully engage in life again.
Thank you for being part of my journey.
