As many of you know, we lost our IBCA/IHBA 2022 State President & dear friend Allen Dykes this past March, after a brave & courageous battle with duct bile cancer. Allen was one of the greatest leaders this Association and Industry has ever had, & most definitely one of the kindest humans we all had the honor to call friend. While fighting this terrible disease for the past two years he never made an excuse to not attend a meeting or travel across the state to attend an event at a local association, he truly was a great inspiration to us all. Now we are asking every local association, individual members, along with the State Association to give back to Allen for all he did for this association by raising money for scholarships for Allen’s two daughters Sydney & Carly Dykes, that both will attend University of Washington (Go Huskies)! Carly a freshman & Sydney a sophomore. If you ever had the pleasure of visiting with Allen, you would know that his three girls ( his wife Shelly & his two daughters) meant everything to him. We ask that you please give to this cause, he would have most definitely given to any of ours. Thank you!
