Help Kenneth get back on his feet

I’ve recently come in contact with someone who has touched my heart. He is Kenneth Saas from Sylvester, Ga, and is the single father of a six year old son (Eli) and a nine year old daughter Jeorgia.

Kenneth has diabetes and was required to wear boots to work that rubbed a sore on his foot which became infected. In September of 2021 his toe was removed and then half of his foot had to be removed as well. He returned to work as soon as was possible. The amputation became reinfected and he lost half of his leg.As soon as possible he began doing odd jobs to keep his electric bill paid. On Friday January 6, Kenneth returned to the hospital to have the toe on other foot removed to drain the infection. On Wednesday January 11, doctors will be removing half of his other foot. Kenneth has filed for disability benefits but Georgia is so backed up they moved his case to another state. He has hired an attorney to help him receive benefits. Having no income several people came together to provide Christmas gifts for the children including clothes. A local church built a ramp for him.

The family lives in a trailer and the rent is $570 a month.

Kenneths positive spirit amazes me! He is able to keep his sense of humor and is so grateful for anything anyone does for him. Any financial help or emotional support you can share with him would be greatly appreciated. The funds will go into my bank account so that I can help manage the finances until he’s well.
