Help Leo, the DC building survivor, to walk again!
My brother Leonardo is a 27 year old who came to the USA to pursue his American dream. Unfortunately, his dreams were interrupted by a brutal building collapse in downtown Washington DC on Thursday, July 1st, 2021. Leo was trapped under rubble and miraculously rescued by a special operations team with DC Fire and EMS. (See media coverage here )
Although, we are praising the LORD for protecting his life, Leo was left paralyzed and unable to walk. He went through a spine surgery and is recovering at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. He will then be transferred to a rehabilitation clinic to continue his long way to recovery. It is a very long process, but we are staying positive and believing in the power of God and in the great medical team involved in his care.
The Gofund will help Leo with any medical and household bills while he is in treatment and recovery.

Meu irmão Leonardo é um jovem de 27 anos que veio para os EUA em busca de seu sonho americano. Infelizmente, seus sonhos foram interrompidos por um colapso brutal de um edifício no centro de Washington DC na quinta-feira, 1º de julho de 2021.
