A PLEA FOR HELP!!
Donation protected
I am writing this letter on behalf of my brother Zachary Harris as a plea for help with a serious financial bind.
It took 2 days of our family not hearing from Zachary and immediately we knew something was wrong. After going to his home to check on him, he never answered the door, which alarmed further suspicions of something being wrong. Law enforcement was called and there we found him laying on the floor unconscious which appeared to be for 2 days. After being rushed to the hospital, the family was told if we hadn’t found him when we did, it could have been fatal with so much fluid on the brain.
He was diagnosed as having had a stroke. As a result of his stroke, he has incurred numbness & weakness to his face, arm, and legs on the left side of his body. In addition, he is confused at times and have problems with delayed speech, blurred vision, and loss of his balance/coordination. Along with other contributing factors being high blood pressure and diabetes which has permitted him not being able to continue his employment.
Please we are in need of help… His recovery can be anywhere from the next 4 to 6 months... Were finding out through his employment he doesn’t have short/long-term disability, 401K, and he lives alone. The Rehab facility will be discharging him by next week due to no improvement with his progress in recovering. As a family, we have done all that we are able to do, by paying his rent for the past 2 months, basic expenses, and utilities. Thus, at this juncture, we have depleted all of our disposable income and were no longer in a position to assist with any of his finances. His rent is due again as of February 1, 2019, along with his basic expenses and utilities, as well. Once he is released he will also need 24-hour care assistance which is another expenses that wont be covered through his insurance.
This is a plea for help and we are hopeful that this touches your heart to bless our brother financially while he is in dire need. He is a great Christian and has always been devoted to his church, choir, and helping others when time of need. Please any type of gift/donation that you are able to give, will gratefully be appreciated. We pray that God returns ALL blessing to you.
