Hello, my name is Melvina. I am a contemporary figurative artist and writer building Melvina Art through painting, graphite, charcoal, and mixed media.
My work explores devotion, sovereignty, embodied identity, sacred polarity, sensuality, and transformation. I create pieces that move through the body as altar, offering, threshold, and place of return. Alongside the visual work, I also write on Substack about the emotional, spiritual, and symbolic worlds behind the art, from shadow work and sensuality to devotion, power, and the process of becoming.
I am raising support to help me continue and deepen this practice with more consistency and care. Contributions will go towards art materials, framing, professional documentation, courses, studio needs, the creation of new work, and preparation for future exhibition opportunities. If you feel a pull toward this work, you can support Melvina Art by contributing here, welcoming a print into your space, or reading and supporting the writing that lives alongside the art.

Every contribution, whatever the size, helps me keep creating with intention, devotion, and greater freedom. Thank you for helping fuel what is becoming.
