Lazaro Quilon walked through our doors at San Diego Strength and Wellness over two years ago to physically and mentally better himself. During that time he became family. He's the guy that is always smiling, making people laugh, knows everyone around the community and everyone knows him. Aside from that we discovered Lazaro was honest, hardworking, loyal, and kind hearted. We all know in our hearts these attributes make a good friend and are hard to come by this day in age. What we didn't know was Lazaro's Mom Rosa Quilon was fighting a battle against ovarian cancer. He kept it to himself until things started to get really hard. During this time we saw how much of a family man and caretaker Lazaro is. With two children to care for and a sick Mother we never saw Lazaro drop the ball once. He displayed amazing abilities as a single parent and seemed to be the only driving force behind caring for Rosa.

Our Father in Heaven welcomed Rosa Quilon on Friday January 15th, 2016. We at SDSW are present and ready to support our Brother in his time of need. It is time for us all to come together and support Lazaro with our giving and our prayers. Please find it in your heart to make a donation to our fund for Lazaro in memory of Rosa Quilon.
