Unexpectedly, Joseph Ander passed away the weekend of October 20, 2018.  He is survived by his wife , Tricia and three children Lauren, Rachael and Matthew.  Joseph Ander retired in 2016 from the Coast Guard as a Chief Petty Officer, faithfully serving his country for over 20 years.  Upon retiring from the USCG, he volunteered at East Great Plain fire department in Norwich, CT as the assistant fire chief.  This page is set up for donations to assist his loving family during this horrible and unexpected tragedy.  Joe gave so much to our nation and community.
