My name is Alex, I am fundraising to go to Lourdes again this year like I did in 2023 and I will be doing another 100 mile bike ride like I did in 2023 in order to fundraise money. My goal for the amount I want to raise is £1400 and so I am hoping that whoever sees this donates as anything towards this helps. The reason I am fundraising is because I need the money for travel and a place to stay in hope that I will be able to go to Lourdes and help the pilgrims there by taking them around the religious grounds and help them find healing and look after them. Not only does it help them find healing it also helps them find become closer to God and gives them the opportunity to do a prayer in one of the most Holy places in all of Christianity. Another reason is that it gives them an opportunity to go out and see and meet new people as a lot of the pilgrims that are coming don’t go out very much.
