Help Us Find a Safe Home

Hi! I am a single mom of three. We are all 18 and older, but only two of us are able to work. Currently only one of us has a job but I am still looking and applying to new jobs every day.

My husband passed away five years ago. We had received monthly benefits for my youngest, but they were cut in half when they turned 16 and totally ended in May when they turned 18. Also, in November 2023, I had to sell my car which meant I had to quit my job as a delivery driver. I’ve been working on getting a job but am still looking. My middle child has a part time job and has been our savior so far but all of our savings have now been used.

Our lease on our apartment ended in mid-June, so we are currently homeless. We had used our savings to stay in an extended stay place, but now that the savings are gone we are resigned to sleeping in our car.

We are trying everything we can to find a place to stay while we are both hunting for full time jobs. Any help we can get is greatly appreciated! We are in need of a place to stay, gas money, and money for food.

We feel bad needing to ask for help, but we would greatly appreciate any generosity and support given.
