Hi. My name is Hugo and I’ve just discovered that I have stage four neuroblastoma. This is normally a cancer found in very young people (1-5 years)… and I’m 39. ..and it needs very urgent treatment.
So it’s a very rare cancer, and the consultants in UK and worldwide are trying to work out protocols to treat it.
The hospital and NHS are doing their best, but there are a number of treatments available outside the NHS that have a proven empirical track record…but they cost money. I am an artisan cheesemaker in a dairy, and I don’t have much saved. The sickness benefits that I think I may receive now that my chemo has started and I can’t work won’t cover anything.
I would love to use treatments like hyperbaric chamber and cancer treatments that are available… and being stage four, I need to get on with it quickly.
I would be so grateful for any help you guys might provide to enable me to achieve this aim…to tackle this cancer.
Thank you.
