Carnegie Hall Honors Performance

I would like to take this opportunity to announce to those who do not already know, my son Jacob Stone, a Junior honor student at Kilgore HS, who I could not be more proud of, was invited to audition to play double bass in the Honors Performance Series at Carnegie Hall in New York. He sent his audition in this past July and we were notified recently that he made it! This is absolutely the highest musical compliment he could have ever hoped to receive and he will have the opportunity to perform under the direction of world renowned conductor, Jeffrey Grogan.
This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity is an investment into his future and I am so excited to see what lies ahead for him. I am not one to ever ask for help, in fact I fought myself over making this post because I do let my pride get in the way. But for him, I am laying it down today. As a single mom, I cannot make this happen for him on my own. So if anyone would like to help to sponsor and invest into the future of a very gifted young man, please let us know and we thank you. Please share.
