Hi folks I’m Scott and I’m dying from EGFR Exon 20 insertion mutation is a specific genetic alteration primarily found in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). It causes cancer cells to grow and multiply uncontrollably. Unlike common EGFR mutations, Exon 20 mutations are structurally resistant to standard, first-generation targeted pills and it’s in my brain, bones and lungs so I’m pretty screwed , while living with my illness is a challenge i have been lucky enough to have saved a lot which is taking the strain, what i hadnt accounted for was the whole burying me post death and that burden is driving me nuts, i dont want to leave the pressure on someone who doesnt need to deal with it when im not here my family cant be trusted to help so i find myself reaching out in the hope that strangers can give me peace in these last few months.
