Coach Fluffy

We have been fortunate to have our children be part of the CFA family and have our children coached by many coaches, including Coach Fluffy. Coach Fluffy is a kid at heart and brings so much joy to these kids on and off the field. From the little kids just starting their soccer journey to the high school age kids, he connects with all of them with his humor, laughter, and big teddy bear heart. If Coach Fluffy is on the field, the kids know there will definitely be a "hey your shoes are untied" prank that gets the kids bursting in laughter. He cares for these kids and is always ready to make a candy, Chik Fil A, and Gatorade run. Aside from coaching, Coach Fluffy enjoys photography and capturing incredible soccer moments of players. Most of his time is spent on the fields but in the last year he has been struggling to get back to coaching and training. We recently learned that Coach Fluffy was experiencing knee pain and swelling as a result of an infection. Coach was admitted and hospitalized for over a month. During his stay his knee was exposed for two weeks. It took doctors over a month to find and finally treat this infection. However, Coach lost mobility and has been dependent on crutches, walkers, and canes for the last year and has not been able to do what he loves, which is to coach. After going through a variety of physical therapist, a few weeks ago, Coach found the right physical therapist at MOTUS Specialists. He has been making progress, but requires many more sessions, and possibly surgery. We are asking this community to help Coach get the required treatment and therapy by contributing to this fund so that he can get back to his love of coaching and continue to bring joy to our players.
