The fight goes on

Well, just as David and Lorraine were adjusting to their new and very hard life they got thrown another nasty curve ball. Friday while doing stretching exercises David's left leg snapped. He has a severe break on his femur and because of his fragile health the Pierre hospital was not able to do surgery so he was flown to Sioux Falls last night. Lorraine drove herself to Sioux Falls and got there around 11 PM.

David is being prepped for surgery right now and the risks are very high because of his stoke and heart attack history, being on blood thinners, and his diabetes. Please say many prayers for them during this scary time once again.

Unfortunately this will cause another financial burden for them as their insurance out of pocket is $13,000 and they may also be in Sioux Falls for an extended period of time for rehabilitation. I know this year has been tough on a lot of people financially but if you are able any assistance is appreciated.

We will update how the surgery goes later today.
