Rally Around the Reynolds/Markeys!

There is an urgent need in the life of this sweet family and I hope you will be compelled to come alongside to help them. Our dear friend, Rhonda Kay (Markey) Reynolds, has been battling severe depression and anxiety for some time now - working hard to overcome the effects of these issues - when it gave rise to a life threatening eating disorder. After months of difficult uncertainty and not seeing the possibility of real freedom from it, she and her family found a treatment center that offers the highly skilled and intense type of care required for Rhonda’s level of severity.
The center took their insurance in theory, but after weeks of fighting hard to convince them of the critical nature of her condition, they have still, inexplicably, refused to pay for the treatment. Rhonda’s family has managed to pay for the first 30 days of care, but their collective resources are running very thin. If they cannot pay the center up front for the remainder of the time of care - by May 15th - they have made it clear that she will be discharged, which would inevitably have a devastating effect on Rhonda’s condition.
Of course, this need is of a private nature and we hesitated to put it out there, but then we realized that if someone we knew and loved were struggling in this way, we would want to know about it so that we could have the opportunity to help their family if we felt led to do so. It is in this spirit which we make this appeal. When one suffers, we all suffer with them…. We are just seeking to walk alongside our dear friends and help carry their burden at this moment. Hope many of you will join us!
**Adrian, Rhonda’s husband, had a wonderful idea! They fully intend to pursue insisting that the insurance company pay for the care. If they succeed in recovering the monies owed by the insurance, then any money donated to this fund will be given to another fund which helps families get the treatment they need for eating disorders. So, your gift would help Rhonda now and could also help another hurting person later as well - that same money could be used twice!
