Donations for Daryl

On June 5th, Daryl suffered a stroke during a work basketball game and was rushed to the hospital.  He is currently in ICU at Grady Memorial Hospital but is stable.  The hope is that he'll be moved down to another unit if all goes well in the next few days. 

We'd like to take up donations for him and his family to be used for any expenses they may incur during Daryl's hospital stay thru his road to recovery.

Update 6/12/14:  Daryl has progressed to the point where he is ready for full time rehab.  He was moved to Emory Rehabilitation Center today to begin working on his rehab process.  To be at this point one week after a stroke is beyond amazing!  He's got a lot of work ahead of him in the coming weeks but if anyone can do it, I know it's him!

Update 6/16/2014:  I've had a request to up the goal amount, which I will do.  Ideally, I'd like to have no goal but this site won't allow that.  We just didn't want anyone to see the goal had been met and think donations aren't still being taken.  Also, the plan is to keep this fund site open until Daryl returns home.  At that time, I'll shut down this page and have the funds transferred to the family.  Thanks to all who have donated!  Please keep Daryl and his family in your thoughts and prayers!

Update 6/24/2014:  The plan, as of now, is for Daryl to go home on Friday, June 27th!!!!
