Hi, my name is Steve, and I'm raising funds for my beloved dog, Maya.

Maya is an 9-year-old Husky-Malamute mix with a heart of gold and the soul of a fighter. She's been my companion through thick and thin — always loyal, always loving. But recently, Maya developed a large mass in her throat, which is now affecting her voice, breathing, and ability to eat comfortably.

The initial testing has been inconclusive, but the vet suspects it could be cancer. To give her a real chance, she needs surgery to remove the mass — and possibly further treatment depending on what they find. Unfortunately, these procedures are very expensive, and the costs are rising quickly with consultations, imaging, and medications already stacking up.

Despite everything, Maya is still walking, eating (liquified meals), and wagging her tail. She still wants to live. I just want to give her that chance.
