On Sunday, August 31, Marcos was taken to the hospital for tooth pain. Never did we imagine he was fighting a deadly fungus in his nasal canal. Unfortunately, he had to be medically induced into a coma that same moment and has had a few surgeries to try to remove the fungus that is slowly spreading through his body.

Unfortunately, this deadly fungus has reached his brain and there isn’t anything the doctors can do to prevent more spreading of it. Soon it’ll take over and as much as it breaks our hearts, we have to prepare for the worst. His only family in this country is his daughter and my mom his partner for 10+ years. We would truly appreciate any help that we could get to start planning his funeral expenses after his battle is over.
