Summer Camp Scholarship for Kids
The Trisha Dohn Summer Camp Scholarship was established in collaboration with the Great Miami Valley YMCA.
This scholarship provides for weeklong residential summer camp experiences for children, ages 7-16 at YMCA's Camp Campbell Gard in Hamilton, Ohio. Trisha Westmeier attended Camp Campbell Gard for many years as both a camper and a counselor. She met and married her husband, Christian Dohn, while they served as camp counselors in 1986.
Trish believed strongly in the transformative, uplifting and healing experience that camp can provide to children and young adults. The scholarship is available to all children, but special consideration will be given to children who are struggling with personal/life challenges and for whom the camp experience may provide a comforting and supportive environment as they navigate a difficult period in their life.
