Hi, my name is Anthea Hunter. On 13th of October while I took my daughter to the shop my little cat Maggie was outside. In the time span of 40 minutes we arrived home to Maggie in her bed in pain with no movement of her front leg and a deep wound, we immediately rushed her to the vet thinking she had an accident, little did we know what had actually happened.
Maggie was purposely and cruelly shot by someone with a lead bearing, who is still unknown after investigation from the police.
The damage was so severe to her leg the only option was to remove it.
This was a massive shock and change to not only Maggie but our family.
As you can imagine the vet bill was very large and luckily we had some help from Millburn veterinary clinic’s charity fund.
but now that fund has had a massive chunk taken out, as well as I myself out of my own pocket because of someone else’s cruel actions.
Any amount you could donate would help massively, the charity fund is there to help animals like Maggie and families affected by unforeseen medical emergency to ensure they get the treatment they need.
Also it would help myself out massively as we all love our pets and would do anything for them but the cost was not planned for and like many other people massive amount are of money are just not available and it really made an impact.
Thank you to anyone who read about Maggie and what happened and I hope you can spare a little to help.
Thank you xo
