Hi my name is Lyle, I am a 3 year old rescue cat from California.

My early days were not easy. I lived on the streets without a family and was hit by a car. Some kind people brought me into a rescue where I was eventually sent to Vancouver BC, Canada for emergency surgery. A plate was put in and I slowly healed my wounds.

When my cat rescue decided I was ready to find my forever home I was skeptical that anyone would want a black street cat with a metal plate in his leg. But the kindest of souls fell in love with me and all my dreams came true.

Sadly, only 2 weeks in my new home, I woke up after a nap and jumped off the sofa and shattered my leg. The metal plate that was put in after my car accident was not done properly.

My new mom and dad rushed me to the emergency hospital and found out I would need surgery to fix my leg. I felt so bad that my new parents would have to shoulder this on their own when all they wanted was to give me a loving home.

I am having surgery on July 14 at Canada West. The vet has given my parents a $10,000 bill for this and I just want to make things easier for them.
