Hello!

June 13th our sweet little man Dayton was born. My labor was amazing and very quick, Dayton was out in a matter of 10 minutes of pushing! Shortly after we were made aware after a x-ray that our little guy had a fractured collar bone that was caused during delivery. This is very common among babies, and typically doesn't result in any further issues, but that is not the case for Dayton. As he has grown he has developed torticollis in his neck which has caused it to be very tense on his right side. He began favoring his left side greatly and we started speaking with doctors about what we could do. We have started weekly physical therapy to help loosen the muscles in his neck while also helping to strengthen it. He has developed a positional flat spot on the left side of his head due to this and is now requiring a helmet to help reshape it. Even with health insurance the cost of the helmet is quite hefty and the payment options are not very flexible, and are due soon. We are in a tight position with me just coming off of maternity leave and are hopeful for some help offsetting the cost.
