My name is Aaron, and I’ve always been someone who worked hard to provide for my family. But life has thrown us challenges I never expected, and now we’re fighting to keep the roof over our heads.

In June 2023, I was laid off from my job. Since then, I’ve been underemployed, doing everything I can to keep things afloat. On top of the financial stress, both my mental and physical health have taken a toll during this time. But the hardest part has been watching my 15-year-old daughter face serious health struggles of her own. No parent should have to watch their child suffer, and it’s been heartbreaking to juggle her needs while trying to keep us financially stable.

Despite all of this, I’ve done everything in my power to keep us in our home. But now, foreclosure is a very real threat. This house is more than just walls—it’s my daughter’s safe place, where she feels comfort and stability during everything she’s been through. Losing it would be devastating for both of us.
