DAYLON "DAYDAY" ANTHONY

“A MOTHER’S CRY”

On 4/28/25, I lost my son Daylon Anthony to gun violence. These past few days, life has been unbearable. The old wise saying would be a child is supposed to bury the parents, not the opposite. I’ve heard many mothers cry but never expected that I would be that same MOTHER. My son Daylon, known as DAYDAY, was very mannerable, respectful, and very talented. He partook in recording music, spending time with family, and helping me with his younger siblings. These last few weeks, he told me daily how much he loved and valued me as being his “Queen,” as he would call me. I won’t paint a perfect picture because he loved everyone and gave love in return. His life was taken by a child while visiting friends on their break at Amazon in Baton Rouge due to envy. I would’ve never expected I would have to ask for help. But for those that can find it in their hearts to contribute, please do so. I greatly appreciate it. No contribution is too big or too small. For those that know me, know that my sons mean everything to me. To know me is to love me. I greatly appreciate your kindness, and may GOD touch your hearts.
