Dayle McMillan IFAF World Cup

Donation protected
Hi, I’m Lashes (Jess Luu)

I have created this GoFundMe page to help support Dayle McMillan in her financial quest to travel to the Women’s International Federation of American Football (IFAF)World Cup 2022 .

For Dayle, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to participate in a sport on the World stage.

First and foremost, congratulations to my bestie Dayle McMillan (Big D or Baby D, to some) on her selection into the AUS IFAF training squad, 2022.

Not many will know much about the tall, shy, perennially sunburnt Sydney Uni Lions MVP 2020 so let me do the honours.

D-edicated: she puts in the work to physically and mentally prepare for the season
A-thlete: despite her reluctance to acknowledge title, Dayle has excelled in many sports throughout her life. The tiktok craze ‘I’m built different’ applies to her, she is a formidably tall and strong opponent. She is humble and one of the very few players in the GNSW league that has earnt the title
Y-outhful and good for a laugh
L-oyal: she is committed to her team on and off the field, she is fiercely loyal and fair to all
E-xceptional human being

The tournament will take place from July 28th to August 8th in Vantaa, Finland

The World Cup is not only defined by the top teams on the field, but also by the commitment to sustainability off the field.

IFAF, which recently partnered with leading sustainability organization Play it Green, is working with host association SAJL and has committed to providing a carbon offsetting framework, a waste management program and the provision of education and training programs for all participating staff to accomplish.

“The IFAF World Championship 2022 will provide a great showcase for the IFAF and our members,” said IFAF President Pierre Trochet. “On the field we will see exceptional talent competing for gold and off the field we will have the opportunity to demonstrate our commitment to greener events.”

Currently, all athletes are training in their respective state and are required to pay fortnightly instalments to self finance their trip.

Should the player be selected for the travelling squad, they will be eligible to compete in the World Cup.

Should Dayle unfortunately not be selected for the Australian team, any funds raised through this GoFundMe page will be donated evenly to the Australian team

Wishing all training squad the best of luck for selection into the travelling team.

Any amount big or small will be greatly appreciated

We understand not everyone is in a position to donate, so we would really appreciate if you could share this GoFundMe amongst your family and friends. Thank you so much
