Dear DayDream Community,

I hope this message finds you in good health and high spirits, even amidst the challenges we face. As you know, the Burning Man community has recently encountered unparalleled weather events, leaving our beloved playa submerged and many of our fellow participants stranded.

The post-Burn cleanup has always been a demanding endeavor, but this year presents an exceptional challenge. Our trailers are mired in mud, personal belongings have been left behind, and vital resources, including the helping hands we so desperately need, are in short supply.

Our dedicated camp leads have invested an enormous amount of time, money, and emotional energy throughout the year to craft a warm, inviting, and comfortable haven for DayDream campers. Behind the scenes, they've made numerous sacrifices to enhance our camp's experience. While the magic they create may seem effortless, there are real people toiling tirelessly to make it happen. Now, more than ever, it's time to show our deep appreciation for these tireless magicians.

Many of us have already departed the playa, leaving only a handful of dedicated individuals to tackle an overwhelming workload. If we can't be there in person to lend a hand, the least we can do is provide financial support to gather the necessary resources for cleanup in our absence.

The events of this week have given us an opportunity to demonstrate our unwavering commitment to our camp leads and the entire DayDream family. I implore you to consider joining us in this endeavor by contributing whatever amount you can spare to assist our camp leads in restoring our home.
