Hi, my name is Kacee, and I’m Amanda’s little cousin. I’m making this on her behalf, not because she asked me to, but because she never would.

Amanda is the kind of person who will suffer in silence before she ever asks for help. She’s a veteran, a mother of five, and she always finds a way to carry everything on her own shoulders.

But I just can’t let that happen this time. RIGHT NOW, AS I WRITE THIS, SHE'S AT WORK…while her 7-year-old son is in a hospital bed, two hours away, waiting to receive a heart transplant tomorrow!!!

She only told a few people about him finally receiving a heart. She found out yesterday.

And she kept it quiet because she didn’t want anyone to talk her out of going to work.. because they need the money. That’s how deep her strength runs.

But this isn’t something she should carry alone!

Dayhausinonday, her youngest son, just turned 7 years old on August 30th. Since birth he's been in and out of the hospital due to his heart, he's had countless surgeries starting at open heart surgery at just two days old.

And now he's about to undergo a life-changing surgery, hours away at UF Gainesville! And he’s doing it without his mama by his side because life, bills, and work won’t stop for any of it.

Amanda still has four other kids at home to care for, with no paid time off due anymore, and the costs are stacking up- gas, food, travel, child care, rent, all of it.

We’re trying to raise $5,000 to help Amanda step away from work, stay near her son, and keep the rest of the family stable while they get through this!

Every dollar helps bring her closer to being where she belongs: next to her baby, not stuck behind a time clock.
