St. Luke’s Day School has been in operation for over 40 years and have weathered
many storms through the years. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic we have
lost more than half of our enrollment. Over the past 10 months we have applied
and received grants through the CARES program, as well as PPP funding to assist
us in managing this short-term enrollment reduction. However, we are a non-profit organization and have used up all our reserves to keep our staff working, hoping to bridge the enrollment reduction gap.
While we are not quite ready to close our doors, we are starting this go fund me page in the hopes that our community can help us keep the program going while we wait for additional grants to become available as well as the community at large to return to work so that our enrollment will return to our steady state enrollment level.
All funding received through this source will be used to cover operational
expenses, primarily staff salaries.
In addition to any generous donations, we would also appreciate your sharing this
with your family and friends. Perhaps they are looking for childcare, even
temporary, we encourage you to come in for a tour. We accept children at 5
months to 5 years old, part time or full time. We also accept subsidized children
through Early Learning Resource Center (ELRC).
All donations would be greatly appreciated.
