Imagine being a single mother, doing everything you can to provide a safe and loving home for your child, only to have that world shattered in an instant. Our team member, Anye, is facing every parent's worst nightmare.

Her sweet 2 y/o little boy was severely abused at a daycare facility which resulted in a broken orbital bone that led to swelling on the brain, a broken femur, a broken wrist, stomach trauma, and broken ribs which resulted in internal bleeding. A place that was supposed to keep him safe has left him severely traumatized. Instead of receiving the support she deserved, Anye was falsely accused of the abuse herself. Child Protective Services took her little boy away, forcing her into a heartbreaking fight to bring him home.

As a single mom, she has been denied government assistance at every turn, leaving her to battle this injustice on her own. Now, she faces overwhelming legal fees, medical bills, and therapy costs, all while trying to take time off work to fight for her son’s return. She shouldn’t have to do this alone.
