Dayan’s emergency dental surgery

I can’t believe we are here again. After losing 4 of our kids in the space of just over a year, we thought to land in calmer, medical, waters but alas.

Dayan, the one eyed wonder we adopted just over 2 months ago, has such severe dental issues, she’s having emergency surgery on Monday. We saw the vet tonight and they class her priority 1, the most urgent.

Prior to coming to us, Dayan was at charity specialising at saving cats from dire situations and for the 6 years she was with them, she was utterly terrified of people and wouldn’t let them close, meaning they didn’t know this was happening and we don’t lay any blame at their feet. They are amazing and equally upset at the situation.

We do have pet insurance for all of our kids however, considering she’s only been with us since 12 May, the insurance company whilst most likely decline our claim. Even if by some miracle they do pay, it will only be the 500,- dental cover when this will set us back between 1500,- to 2000,-.

Putting her to sleep is NOT AN OPTION! Dayan is love, pure love. After 6 years at the charity and 3 years on the streets of Cyprus, she finally has her forever home.

As we have with all our kids, as long as they are fighting, we are fighting.

We will post all proof and as before, if more is raised than needed, we will donate it to Cats with no hope.
