Well, things took a solid turn for the better today. I got all my medical care moved to Allina due to the increasing number of issues that have been happening.
Paperwork for my last leave of absence was done in front of me and faxed while I was still in the clinic and I have a signed copy that I can scan and email or fax if necessary.
I'm car hunting with a goal of having a new car before Labor Day (happy birthday to me). It's not going to happen as I'm broke for the next two weeks and have prescription refills coming up and need to get caught up with the landlord before getting the car.
However, being back to work and getting back outside for a walk now and then is helping my mental state more than I had though it would. Add getting my health managed better along with the improving financial outlook taking a lot of stress/anxiety off my shoulders; I could actually start liking life again!
I'm starting this GoFundMe to raise some money towards getting caught up with our landlord and putting money towards a new car for me so that I can easily get to appointments and physical therapy.
Currently, I am $1100 in arrears with the landlord and would like to keep my car budget under $2000 including tax/title/plates.
Getting caught up with the landlord would be a huge stress drop for me and having my own car and not having to juggle appointments around my partner's "in the office one day a week" first shift schedule and my 2nd shift schedule. It would also allow me to get out and go hiking, run errands in the morning before I start work, and visit my friends on the weekends when my partner is visiting their friends.
