Emergency Heart Surgery

The little boy pictured on the cover of this fundraising campaign is Abubacarr Tamba, son to my friend and former schoolmate Mr. Wuyeh Tamba. He has a serious heart disease which requires immediate surgery. Unfortunately, this service is not available in The Gambia,  hence the family is seeking help to take the boy to India for the needed surgery.  Please see the letter from the doctor managing his case at the Medical Research Council (MRC) in The Gambia, invoice from the intending hospital in India.




Here is the medical opinion of the receiving doctor in India, followed by estimated cost from the hospital.
