Dawson College Industrial Design 2021 Vernissage
Donation protected
What a year it's been! For us, the Industrial Design graduating class at Dawson College, we've been hard at work from home- on Zoom, running CAD on our laptops, and building prototypes in our garages or apartment bathrooms.
Normally at this time, we would be planning our vernissage, fundraising with bake sales, and busy building our models in our beloved workshop.
But hey, that's not the case this year- as by the time we graduate, we'll have spent almost half our degree in online learning.
So what does that mean for our vernissage? Well the 2021 students, like the 2020 class, will have an online vernissage.
That means instead of spending money on kiosks, beer, and wine, we'll be funding website design and rapid prototyping.
Since most on-campus activities (including fundraising) has been suspended, we, the 2021 Dawson I.D. class are here asking for financial assistance to help pay for our prototyping costs and website design.
Thank you!
