College Tuition for a Young African Woman

Thank you again to everyone who supported me last year in my successful pre-medical internship in Kenya.

For those who do not know me, hi! I'm Rutendo (Tendoe for short). I am a young woman from Zimbabwe with a mission to introduce the power of emerging science to my region to reduce the high disease burden and promote health equity in Africa.

Some of you know that my passion for biomedicine was inspired by my experience with my late father, who struggled with a chronic illness for 10 years and passed away just before my 17th birthday. My dream is to make sure that others do not suffer as he did.

Your contribution helps me pay for my first year. Once I am in college, I will then have the ability to work and earn $ to cover some of my costs plus access to more scholarships and grants.
