Dawns Urgent Medical Recovery Needs Support!

Hi, my name is Angel Franzman, and I am a dear friend of Dawn Graham. A few people have reached out to Dawn’s family and I, inquiring how they can help. The biggest needs first, is prayer for her life and recovery. The second big need is financial support.

Dawn has had a serious and urgent medical emergency and we’re reaching out for any help and prayers. Last week, Dawn’s colon bursted open, leaking feces and bacteria into her abdominal cavity, causing severe sepsis and a massive infection over all over her internal organs. Initially, she didn’t know the severity of what happened, and took pain medication and slept over it. By the next day she was taken by ambulance to the emergency room, where Fairview (Death View) hospital, did not correctly attend to her emergency condition and waited an entire day before getting her into emergency life saving surgery! On Friday, she was in such extreme pain that she could no longer breathe on her own. The hospital needed to place her on life support so she could be kept alive with the assistance of medical devices as she was in so much pain. Her fever has been dangerously high along with her heart rate. The incision that was made during the emergency surgery is unable to close due to the infection inside her body preventing any healing.

We have all been feeling sick to our stomachs with worry and are left placing our trust in god. During this horribly scary time, we hope everyone knows how deeply grateful we are to everyone’s prayers, hospital visits, offers to let out her dogs, and everything else. If anyone is able to help financially with any amount, it would be a massive relief to her family. I’ve learned that she’s going to need financial support for her rent, utilities, care for her dogs, care and support for her disabled daughter, and for her sister who has been caring for so much, and unable to work.

Without knowing who my family was in the beginning, Dawn gave everything to help my disabled and homeless mom when we were experiencing a major hardship. She offered my family her time, her care, her love, and her strength at a time where she also had nothing to her name. Dawn cares deeply about helping others, and is so thoughtful. My hope with this GoFundMe is to somehow give back to her for all of the selfless kindness that she’s shared to me and my family, and to help her and her family through this nightmare.
