Dawn's Healing: Your Help Makes a Difference

My name is Lisa & I am creating this GoFundMe in support of my sister Dawn.

In May of this year, our world was shaken when my sister Dawn was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of lung cancer. This diagnosis has turned her life upside down in ways we could never have imagined. After months of doctor’s visits, tests, and uncertainty, Dawn underwent a major surgery on August 18th to remove a lung. This surgery was a crucial step in saving her life, but the recovery process will be long, difficult, and painful.

Dawn has always played a big roll in the animal rescue community, dedicating her time and energy to helping animals in need. Over the years, she’s worked with local pet rescues, helping to save countless lives, giving animals a chance at a better future. She’s given so much of herself to improve the lives of the animals that otherwise wouldn't have had a fighting chance. Now it's our time to give back to her.

Because of the intense recovery process, Dawn will be unable to return to work for an extended period of time, putting her in a severe financial hardship. With the weight of medical bills piling up and the inability to provide for herself at this time I ask If you can find it in your heart to donate, no matter how small, it will make a world of difference. Your support will help relieve some of the financial strain during her recovery, allowing her to focus on healing rather than worry.
