Hello, friends, family, and kind strangers,

My name is Joseph, and I’m raising funds for my amazing wife, Dawn, and me. About a year ago, she was diagnosed with cancer. Since then, our life has been a blur of doctor’s visits, treatments, scans, and long recovery days.

Why we’re asking for help

Because of the endless appointments, Dawn missed weeks of work. I took time off as well to drive her to chemo and keep her spirits up. Those lost paychecks quickly snowballed: first, we fell behind on rent, then on utilities, and soon every bill felt impossible to catch up on. We’ve cut every extra expense, but the gap keeps growing.

What the $20,000 will cover

Past-due rent & late fees - $14,800

Utility arrears (power, water, internet) - $3,000

Next two months of basic bills while we get back on our feet - $2,200

Total Goal - $20,000

Every dollar goes straight to these overdue balances so we can breathe again and focus on Dawn’s healing—not collection calls.
