Back to back Super Typhoons hit the Phillipines in Nov 2025 causing widespread damage, loss of life and immense suffering.

We are raising funds for the family of our beloved Nanny Dawne. Thankfully they are all safe as they managed to get to their sister’s place on higher ground but their home and rice fields have been completely submerged. The rice fields are their livelihood and their current crop has been wiped out.

They are facing no income until they can replant and regrow which takes a year. The structure of their house has survived but the floors, furniture, livestock and agriculture have been devastated.

They are working hard to reset and rebuild but its not easy.

Any funds raised from this campaign will go directly to Dawne’s family and will be very much appreciated. The Canadian Dollar goes quite far in the Phillipines and any amount helps!
