Sadly, on September 19th, Dawne passed away while abroad in Portugal. Many have asked how they can help and with the blessing of Dawne's family this GoFundMe has been created. It has been a process for John to bring Dawne home and there is not a definitive date for his return. Due to the legalities of being in another country, it seems the soonest day possible will be Sunday. This means there are additional costs for flights and hotels, as well as funeral agency related costs. John and Dawne were traveling with Eddie Breese and Lynn Miller, who have stayed with John so that he is not dealing with everything on his own.
