Thanks for taking the time to visit this fundraiser in support of the Odle-Perkins family. Dawna was diagnosed with metastasized, stage 4 cancer, nearly 3-years ago and she has battled through multiple rounds of chemo, surgeries and experimental treatments, with impressive grace. Dawna, her husband Cliff, and their two young children have lived in Maine, for a little over a year, and do not have family in the state. Their new church community, as well as the college community that Cliff works at, have both been wonderful support systems, for which they are humbly grateful. Just yesterday, Dawna learned that her liver is failing and that her condition is now considered terminal. There are no more treatment options and she will now require live in hospice care for the remainder of her life.  The family survives on Cliff's income, as a lecturer at Bates College. As you can imagine, there are countless financial challenges that go along with late stage cancer...especially in a family with children.  All funds will go directly to the bank account of Cliff & Dawna and will be used for childcare, medical expenses and future financial needs.  The purpose of this fundraiser is to ease the financial burden as much as possible, in order to alleviate that one area of stress from the family's plate as they share precious time together. No amount is too small and will be greatly appreciated by Dawna & Cliff. I've known the family for several years and they are a loving, creative and talented bunch who bring joy to those around them.  With blessings and gratitude, Mia
