Help the Dawn Treaders row 2,800 miles across the Pacific Ocean — and change lives in three countries along the way.

In 2030, three ordinary women will climb into a 7-meter ocean rowing boat in Monterey, California, and row — with no engine, no sails, and no shortcuts — 2,800 miles across the open Pacific Ocean to Kauai, Hawaii.

We are Nicole (USA), Kat (Australia), and Maren (Australia). We are mothers, professionals, volunteers, and adventurers. We are not professional athletes. We are three very ordinary women attempting something extraordinary — and we need your help to get there.

Your donation will help us purchase everything we need to get across the ocean, including Spitfire, our purpose-built ocean rowing boat, and the required equipment and food. Every dollar raised beyond that goes directly to four charities that are close to our hearts. When we eventually sell Spitfire after the crossing, those proceeds go to the charities, too. Your support keeps giving long after we reach dry land.

WHY WE ARE DOING THIS

Why row the Pacific? Because we want to show the people we love — our children, our parents, our friends, our colleagues — that they are capable of far more than they imagine.

You do not need to be a professional athlete to do hard things. You need courage, community, and a willingness to keep rowing when it gets tough. That's what this crossing is about — and that's what we want to model for everyone watching.

WHAT IS THE WORLD'S TOUGHEST ROW?

The World's Toughest Row is one of the great endurance challenges on earth. The Pacific route runs from Monterey, California, to Kauai, Hawaii — 2,800 miles of open ocean with no support vessel, no motor, and no respite.

We will row in three-hour shifts around the clock — sleeping, eating, and living in a 7-meter boat for 30 to 90 days. We will navigate Pacific swells, shipping lanes, and sleep deprivation. We will likely question everything. And then we will keep rowing.

Spitfire, our boat, has crossed both the Atlantic and Pacific before. She is built for this. So are we.

WHAT YOUR DONATION MEANS

Here's what your support makes possible:

$50 covers a day's worth of the specialist freeze-dried food for one of us, enough to keep four women rowing across the Pacific.

$100 contributes towards our safety equipment — the life raft, personal locator beacons, and emergency kit that keep us alive.

$850 covers a set of oars for the crossing — the very tools we'll use to make over a million strokes to Kauai.

Every amount helps. And every dollar above the cost of the row goes directly to our four charities.
