Hey everybody. I’m starting this fundraiser to help my mom out. As many of you may have heard, she had a brain aneurysm burst randomly while cooking dinner on the night of Nov 13th. She was life flighted to MU Emergency room where they admitted her to the Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit. She underwent brain surgery in the early morning of Tuesday Nov 14th, where they put a coil into the aneurysm to stop anything further from happening. They also inserted a drain into her head to remove any blood off of the brain. She’s healing well by the grace of God, and the help of the neurology department at MU. They said she’s expected to have to stay in the ICU for 3-5 more days, and stay in the hospital for up to 3 weeks. They’re doing everything they can to monitor her and make sure this doesn’t happen again and that she makes a full recovery. As most of you know, my mom is a fighter and she’s one of the strongest women I’ve ever met. But she’s concerned about how she’s going to pay her bills while she’s down. She works 3 jobs, owns a salon, has a mortgage payment, a car payment, and multiple other bills. She asked me to start this fundraiser to ease some of the stress. My mom has always helped everyone shes met. She’s taken in many family members and friends, and would give the shirt off of her back to a stranger if needed. She’s an amazing woman of God, and we’re all blessed to have such an awesome woman in our lives. I’m forever thankful that she’s still here with us today. If you could help her out, it would be greatly appreciated. If you don’t have the funds to do so, that is totally alright and all I’d ask of you is to continue to pray that God helps her recover, takes away her pain, and continues to bless her and watch over her while she undergoes such an unfortunate event.
